The AHA’s BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals, medical students, and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR / AED and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.
The AHA’s BLS Skills Session course is a hybrid option, designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings. Heartsaver CPR AED is a non-medical certification, for anyone with little or no medical training who needs CPR AED training and a course completion card. Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED is intended for those involved in childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. This audience includes childcare workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for children’s sports organizations. This course is also ideal for parents, grandparents, extended family, babysitters, and guardians. Prior to attending the skills session, students must complete Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Online (sold separately here https://shopcpr.heart.org/).
