Notes: Students MUST complete the online portion before the scheduled skills session date, and email a copy of their completion certificate to rick@citywidecpr.com
Students should log into the Virtual meeting room (see Google Meets invite) 3 to 5 minutes before the scheduled time to ensure equipment is working correctly.

The American Heart Association BLS Provider Skills Session

Course time: Online course approximately 2 hours.  Skills session Approximately 1.5 hours

What does this course Cover?

  • High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
  • The AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components
  • Important early use of an AED
  • Effective ventilations using a barrier device
  • Importance of teams in multirescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multirescuer CPR
  • Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants
